Wax regularly You will have far better results as your hair will gradually weaken, growth will appear finer and a lot of clients will experience a reduction in hair growth over time. Exfoliate the area regularly (with a body scrub or bath mitts). Not only will your skin feel great, but this will also help prevent in-grown hairs. After-care advice Your hair follicles will be open after your treatment, so it is important to avoid the following for 24 hours after your wax: • Excessive perspiration and friction • Sauna / Steam room • Hot bath / Shower / Swimming • UV exposure • Fake tan / Body Lotion / Perfume • Tight clothing Retin A or Ro-Accutane Let your therapist know about any allergies or medical conditions you have. Waxing is not suitable if you have been using Retin A or Ro-Accutane within the last six months. Some treatments will use nut or aromatherapy oils. How much hair growth do I need before Waxing? If you have been shaving / epilating / using a depilatory cream, you should leave 2 – 3 weeks of growth before your treatment. Once you get into a waxing routine, you will need to return every 4 – 6 weeks for the best results. What is Hot wax? Hot wax provides a superior finish to your wax as it removes more stubborn hairs. Hot wax is more gentle on the skin and reduces any discomfort providing a virtually pain-free waxing treatment. Hot wax is applied in a thick layer and left to set. Then the layer of wax is peeled off without any need for a strip. Hot wax should always be used on sensitive areas including the face, underarm and bikini. How is it done? We use strip wax for Arms and Legs. This means that a thin layer of warm wax is applied and removed with a paper / fabric strip. For Facial, Underarm and all Bikini waxing, we use hot wax. The wax is applied to the area in a thick layer, left to cool and then peeled off. How long will it take? It depends on the treatment, but an underarm should take about 15 minutes and a brazilian about 45 minutes. For first time waxers and new clients we allow extra time so you can relax. The more regularly you attend (every 4 – 6 weeks) the quicker and easier it becomes. How long will it last? Everyone is different and the hair growth cycle will vary. Generally, you should be hair- free for 7-14 days. You are advised to return within 4-6 weeks to achieve the best results. For facial and underarm waxing is generally done more regularly (every 2-3 weeks) since the hair re-growth is more obvious. If you have been shaving / epilating / using depilatory creams, it usually takes approx 3-4 waxes for you to achieve a long lasting perfectly smooth finish. This is because your hairs are at different stages in the growth cycle. Regular waxing will help your hair get into the same cycle, giving a longer lasting result and a potential reduction in overall growth.

Gel Removal and Nails Shaped

Wash hands thoroughly before touching studs or ear. Cleanse front and back of the ear 2 times a day with CAFLON Natural Solution without removing studs. Then rotate studs 2 or 3 times, 90º left and 90º right, i.e. a quarter turn only, thus avoiding hair wrapping around the post at the back of the lobe. In between cleansing, the area should be kept DRY. Keep hair spray, soap, shampoo and other preparations away from the ear. After shampooing, the ear should be rinsed with clean water and then cleansed with CAFLON Natural Solution as described above. The piercing area should be CLEANSED with CAFLON Natural Solution, then kept DRY, especially after bathing, swimming or exercise. DO NOT Remove studs or handle your ears and/or studs unnecessarily. Push the butterfly along the post towards the ear – the butterfly must always be positioned of the tip of the post. Feel the position each time you clean the ear – it must feel smooth. This ensures that the earring remains LOOSE during the healing period. This is essential as too tight may lead to inflammation. DO Leave studs in the ears for 6 weeks continuously (12 weeks for cartilage). After 6 weeks (12 weeks for cartilage), the stud can be removed and other post-type earrings may be worn continuously. Use only post-style earrings continuously for the first 6 months from piercing. The post should be surgical stainless steel or other hypo-allergenic material. Minor pain/redness may occur immediately – this is normal, this will settle within 48 hours provided proper after-care is carried out. If undue pain/swelling/redness occurs at any time, seek medical advice before removing the stud.

Your make-up needs to look flawless on your wedding day, as photographs and videos will be taken. Our make-up artist will do a 1 hour trial with you a few weeks before to ensure the right colours are chosen, and you know how the finished result will look. On the day of the wedding, come with a cleansed, exfoliated and moisturised face and allow 1 hour for our make-up artist to apply the planned make-up.
